Seems to me the Dodgers had the best results with Puig at 2 or lead off. Joc and Rollins need to be way down the order always. Hell, put Ethier or SVS or anyone else in the 1-2 position depending on Puig's placement

I honestly think Puig is the best fit for lead off on this team. Maybe people will disagree but Puig is hitting the ball hard lately and I feel like he's a good "table setter"

Anyways, shit game, scoring 1 run off Jerome is fucking stupid. Howie/Adrian/Guerrero wasted huge opportunities

Also, putting Peralta in when you needed a double play is weird when you have Jim Johnson who is a ground all machine

I'm hoping that we get a positive from this game and that's that they stop pretending Peralta should be used in high leverage situations. His stuff looks done

What a way to come off a sweep of the Angels. Losing to Jerome Williams, his 6+ ERA and the Phillies. Peralta is straight garbage but Donnie dipshit shouldn't have put him in there in the first place. Dude hasn't pitched in nearly a week and he puts him in in that situation. These fucking guys better beat the doors off these scumbags tomorrow.

Of course Rollins is starting to hit now a bit, but yeah I'd like Puig to hit lead off right now.

    Puig
    Kendrick
    Turner
    Gonzalez
    Grandal
    Ethier
    Pederson
    Rollins

I'll again state, I thought Wood was really good tonight. Biggest concern with Wood was the disappearing strikeouts, but tonight he got a bunch of swings and misses and strikeouts. Pretty encouraging stuff overall. I'm confident we can win with any of the 5 guys we throw out there.

I agree with Dre hitting 2nd.

Problem is, this team doesn't have a legit leadoff hitter. So it might not matter who hits 2nd.

Yep, Peralta is what he is. He was good last year and I still think Dominguez for Perata+Liberatore was solid but Peralta has turned to shit and needs a lot to show he's back. Whether it's age or the injury or the combo, he hasn't shown anything to prove he's the 7th best reliever.

In that case, it's inexcusable to have him in that spot where he needs to be perfect. Jim Johnson gets a lot of freaking grounders! Ugh

    Win tomorrow

Front office inability to sure up the bp before the deadline is glaringly obvious. Guys need a boot up the fucking arse.

Nice to see we got Johnson for those "late in game, big out situations"...

I agree that puig seems to be the only one on the roster capable of leading off at the moment but that lineup seems vulnerable to a lefty reliever.

    Puig
    Ethier
    Turner
    Gonzo
    Grandal
    Kendrick
    Pederson
    Rollins
