    Yes, it's pretty cool that we have an opportunity to clinch the division so early, but in a way, this huge margin - coupled with the changes made to the playoff format this year - has made the division magic number somewhat irrelevant. My attention is shifting to the magic number to clinch the first round bye - currently 40 by my count.

    Dreifort was a favorite of mine...never got the opportunity to show his talents as fate was not kust not kind to him physically.
    My favourite DD moment was when the Big Cat charged at him on the mound, and he stood there nonchalantly with his hand on his hip just waiting for him. I honestly forget how it turned out ultimately, but I liked his moxie in light of the furious charge of the" fearsome" Cat.

    Injuries robbed him of what could have been a great career.
