    but it's not just heisey
    it's heisey coming on the heels of nicasio, martin, bolsinger (sp)
    our big offseason move so far is a (near) 40-year old pitcher coming off a shitty year
    awesome

    We'll make the moves, young grasshopper. Where's Ford when we need him? He's been around the offseason process for a long time now. He knows how to handle this. :)

    On a conference call with reporters Tuesday night, Dodgers general manager Farhan Zaidi said the team's series of incremental moves so far, some of which were intended to bolster the team's Triple-A depth, could foreshadow bigger things to come.

    "Having that base of depth gives you the opportunity to make more aggressive, needle-moving moves as the offseason goes on," Zaidi said.

    If Ned was running things, he would have traded Pederson for Heisey and signed Ryan Vogelsong to a 6 year deal.
