Yeah but I bet most of you find me pretty ridiculous.
I'm the guffaw king in these parts.

 

Yeah, I've done plenty of stuff for shits and giggles.

But what I was getting at was stuff I do in business dealings. I know you are a business owner too, and I don't pretend to say how you are, but I know I've done things that I'd rather not have. I've fired people that I could have given second (or third) chances. I've squeezed suppliers, customers and employees. I've allowed people that work for to be ruthless in ways far beyond what I'd do. If I didn't care about the P&L, I wouldn't do those things. I can make an argument that there's a greater good here, but I still feel bad about some of the things I have to do.

 

Evil is not like a bell curve.
Evil is like alcoholics anonymous.
We all recovering evilholics taking it one step at a time.
It's not you who is evil but your beliefs that you are deceived to believe.
Those beliefs make you succeptible to evil thoughts.
Because we have been deceived.

But the moment we start comparing what we do with what obvious evil people do we get lost in that slippery slope of grading on a curve.
Of saying that we aren't evil because x and y.
That we don't do obviously evil things.
That's self justification.
And it's a false belief we have been programmed to help us cope by those sellers of cope.

When a so called good person does evil he can't see it as evil because he's a good person.
He believes he is good.
Our mind plays tricks on us in those situations.
Our minds are not trustworthy when it comes to judging ourselves that way.
Some of us might be better than others but speaking generally people are all evil.
Children are born evil.
They cry when they don't get their way.
They go into a rage of dominance.
Pick me up, sing me a lullaby and pat me on the back!

They have not learned how to sublimate their evil. Their animal instinct aka beast nature. Or what we can also call ferality of fierceness.
Most of us are programmed how to suppress it.
But that isn't a permanent solution.
Thats why we need finskis black dwarf baby Jesus that's locked up in a cage in the Vatican in case he comes back to life like Pinocchio and escapes.
Only he can save us from our resident evil we are born with.
I don't care if he's a black dwarf.
That might actually be pretty cool and get atheists to reconsider just for the novelty factor alone.

That's why I have always made the argument that so many atheists are true Christians by nature.
Even if their outer man does evil.
The inner man knows it and shrinks a little everytime.
It hides itself for a bit.
As its supposed to.
You have to look for it some.
That's the only way you know that you are abusing your own inner child too much.
At one point of ignoring our inner child we may lose touch and go look for it and not find it.
You can only put baby in the corner for so long.

I don't go to church.
I only went again when I got married and foolishly thought I was doing the right thing/being a good husband doing what the wife wanted me to do.
