apparently most people think the place they talk about was called Kommune 1 and believe it was a freak named rainer langhans and his gf uschi obermaier
she certainly fits what Mick and John were describing
    weird story

This was a topic on a Rockline thirty years ago on KLOS. Bob Coburn had Mick Fleetwood on and he mentioned a German cult getting into Pete Green's head. Sad tale.

so i went to this place called Palau St. Jordi outside Barcelona and was at this show
don't expect anyone to watch the whole thing even though its a testimony to this man
but i hope some watch the first song "alone" from the new music
the humility and genuine love he communicates w is amazing
i was crushed instantly and had no emotional control, truly love this man

    RIP Rick Anderson
One of the most unique bands i ever saw live
freaks and hairies dykes and fairies all over the stage and superior musicians
Fee was and is an awesome front man and in a group of brilliant guys Anderson stuck out on bass
i think it was 08 when i saw them in Agoura a couple of times and always hoped i'd get the chance to see them again
have to think it'll be hard to find a guy to replace Rick

one of my favorite bands from the late 70's transition of rock into punk/ska/new wave etc
what do you want from life, mondo bondage, white punks on dope...
also, the remote control album is greatly underrated
    rip indeed

Journeyed to Kezar Stadium to see the Zep in '73. Tubes opened for them (what a freak show), then Roy Harpo and Lee Michaels. Zep made us wait about 90 minutes. Apparently they and their manager were a major prima donna pain in ass.

Check out the ticket prices. At that time the opening acts hadn't been determined.

    midge ure was a genius
if you watch the original band aid video, he was essentially the producer
geldof definitely deserves all the credit for putting his idea into action and getting everyone together…
but no way do they know it’s christmas would have been anywhere as successful without ure
he had this ability to communicate with all the superegos of that time and not be too fawning and yet still placate everyone
i think geldof quickly recognized this and let him run with it
