09-20 Vancouver, British Columbia - Queen Elizabeth Theatre
09-21 Seattle, WA - The Moore
09-22 Portland, OR - McMenamins Crystal Ballroom

Interesting tidbit from Marr. In this short video, he praises Magazine's John McGeoch as a guitar God and refers to the band's 1978 song Shot By Both Sides as sounding like "a spy film" and "pure James Bond"
    https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hCW0CVGWyC0?feature=share

By coincidence (or perhaps not), Magazine came out with a cover of a Bond theme later that same year...

i remember my buddy and i riding our bikes to the record store
it was the summer of 1974
i had enough cash for one album
lots of choices, but it ultimately came down to steely dan/pretzel logic or elton john/caribou
then out of the corner of my eye i saw something…
    [IMG]

i had heard some bowie songs, but this album blew my mind
that christmas i got pinups, ziggy stardust and david live
my music life had changed forever … and i am eternally grateful

The Who covered it rather nicely. The Ox on bass.

Regarding His Oxness ... this is arguably the sickest bass sequence I've heard in R&R ...

    Full song ...

    Isolated...

Welp .... you'll never die of poisoning you if you keep this list handy...

    https://100best.music.apple.com/us

I nearly puked when I saw that Kendrick Lamar & Frank Ocean made the top 10 while Bowies ZIGGY tops out at 24th ... and Hendrix at 63

I could drink a gallon of arsenic & look at their #1 and projectile vomit every drop of it safe as a baby afterwards.
