Stanton's obviously a proven producer at the plate, but we know that Puig has more tools..gotta love the arm ( thank god it's the left thumb and not the right thumb). good question though. i know the Dodgers' channel is riding the Puig wave and he's definitely electrifying when he's out there, so on the grand scale of what Puig can do for you the Dodgers could make a decent argument for why they'd keep Puig and just sign Stanton as a FA instead. Stanton would love to play for the home team, but he's also looking for his doe. question to you..why didn't the Dodgers consider Ozzie for manager? or did they?
Beckett is going to do his best Dan Haren impersonation and lead us to a 5-1 victory tonight. :dinosaur: Let's GO!
If Dee had caught the damn ball on the steal attempt, that could've been a scoreless inning for Beckett. In any case, he's already used about a third of his allotted pitches in one inning. Looks like a long night for the pen.
Did anyone notice that on Hanley's steal attempt, CC broke for the plate on the throw? Vinny missed that one.
Bad two innings for Dee. CS, error, and a dropped ball on the steal attempt. Hopefully it's out of his system.
