Careful he is still dangerous in the NL. Now I'm not completely disagreeing but he's had past success against us.

1-9 with a 4.72 ERA. The article I read about the trade says he's been hurt by a lack of run support but that 4.72 era says it's not all the run support. Plus, this guy hasn't been the same since he left the Padres. Boston and SF splitting the remaining 5MM. This looks like nothing more than a shot in the dark. It's about as frightening as Dan Uggla at 2b.

Well at least this means they won't get Price, they had scouts at his last game.

I kinda like the idea of trading for John Lackey, shouldn't be terribly expensive and wouldn't feel bad about him being the #4 in the playoffs should it come to that.

Thats what I was thinking too, or at least if they did it would have been their top 5 and even then it probably wouldn't have happened.

Could be a solid pickup. The guy used to fucking kill us, a return to the NL West might help his numbers.

Peavy has been worse than Haren this season and the Giants gave up 2 of their top 5 prospects for him LOL

We should shop Haren, see if anybody will take him

I just hope Ned doesn't trade away anything valuable. I don't think he has in the past trades with Boston.

According to Rosendouche we aren't close on any significant deals :(

Sources: #Dodgers not close to any significant deal. Kemp doing well in RF; some wary of moving his RH bat, esp w injury history of OFers.

Dodgers talked with RedSox about Lester, but talks didn't get very far yet; I'd pass, he's an expensive rental

    Dodgers better make 2 moves
