Wow, watched the archive game. Funny thing is I never felt we were out of it. Good thing about archived games (and bad) is you can see how long is left in the game. So in the 9th I could see there was still 20 mins or so left, so thought we were going to score. Then Putz was taking so fucking long I wasn't sure, then Ivan got the hit and it was awesome. Cool story.
I don't watch many archived games, but I was watching one on mlb.tv through my PS3 earlier this year and I swear it looked like there was a lot of time left in the game - so I was expecting extra innings when all of a sudden someone scored, game was over, and it said "thank you for watching". I assumed the timeline pulls fakeys... I guess not.
