    Somebody that will cause a major disturbance in the Force. For me anyway. Like Elian Herrera and /or Eovaldi. I'm expecting something like that...on the level of Santana or...gasp...Kenerko. If it happens.
    I hold hope for something like Milton for Andre, but we are the Dodgers. Moreover, we are NED. Andre was a miracle.
    Most think better Ned than dead. Or is it the other way round?
    I see the Cubs wanting pitching, although it seems they could use just about anything.

    I know what your saying, but after the worst moves in modern BB history in Ned's pocket, I have to see it to believe it. Then I'll be OK with it...but until then, I expect only too much to be given.
    I know what I read and hear about Kasten, but until it's pactum factum, it's a rumor, for me anyway.

    It breaks my heart to see Loney and Konerko standing next to each other. Oh, what might have been. I never liked Karros...and especially when I blame him for the Dodgers moving Konerko. Konerko could still be the Dodger 1B ...that'd been so awesome.

    Kasten is gonna be far less involved than you guys are implying, except BZ. Kasten is not a scout, negotiator or analyst so he'd be terrible at any GM related shit. What he does is hire and fire what he thinks is the best staff. He's said it numerous times but he's becoming a figurehead for stuff he won't really do. Yeah, hes Gonna know who we're involved with and he's gonna talk about it but he's not gonna go seek which prospects to trade, or hammer out deals cause he's never done anything like that. A president oversees that everyone is doing their job,... He hires scouts to go to Latin America but he doesn't go to Latin America and understand the upside of a pitxher. He just reports what that upside is after a scout tells him

    So basically, if Ned wants dempster, and everything financially is fine, and it isn't somehing extremely wacky, it'll happen

    Actually Ford Tommy Lasorda traded Konerko to the Reds for Jeff Shaw, Lasorda was acting GM. You also have to take into effect that Konerko was traded from the Reds as well.
