Yeah, I remember, but that was Mattingly's fault. He pitched in almost half of the games, which was far too many.

Glad to hear he cleared, and glad to hear he accepted the assignment. I had read an article that suggested he might call it quits given all the operations coupled with young family that he would want to spend time with. I'd love to see him get one more chance at the big show.

This could very well be the reason. This and in addition to pure jealousy.

Most of our previous prospects traded have not panned out so other than the few prime ones the others might be suspect.

Take a shot on Lee. I'm discounting his AAA stats because no one pitches well there.

I would be fine with that too, just don't think they'll promote him now, because he's "struggling"

Reed is doing well at Chattanooga

    DFA Haren, call up Lee.
Simple and time for it to happen. Get on it.

Hey maybe we should have traded for a starter. Nah it's cool we only need three for the postseason

I don't think we are going to add Lee to the 40 man just yet which is what is would take to bring him up. Patterson is on the 40 man so he's a candidate. Fife is there and Magill is still here so you have to ask yourself are those 2 guys better than Haren and you have to lean to maybe but not for sure. Like I wrote in another thread I don't want the FO to panic and trade the farm for Hamels.

Fife is hurt and Magill is pitching out of the bullpen, neither are options; Patterson sucks ass too

^I based my choices on the 40 man roster but they didn't indicate they we're disabled hmm. Red Patterson had an above average outing this year. Only lasted 4 2/3 however.

Just means we wouldn't sweep the NLCS and World Series.

Come on guys, get it together. It's pretty obvious.

AN ALL CAPS RESPONSE REALLY LA? Remember Beckett is no guarantee and we don't know for certain Haren stays in the rotation unless there's some inside information for you have.
