I'm just going to follow this team as if I were an Astro or Marlin fan from now on, or like Lt Speirs of Band of Brothers and WW2 fame. Go in expecting to lose. Any small gain or win will be a bonus. Hard to be upset with a defeat if you already know you're beat. Going to try to at least have some fun this season.
Agree. Mattingly could do nothing else. No one plays up to their abilities on this team except Punto and maybe this one or that one offensively now and then, but it is a sham of overpriced superstars from yesteryear. There is nothing on this team, and Crawford , IMO, looks like his focus and attention is elsewhere....definitely not on the field. It's just a bad mix, from Mattingly on down. It doesn't matter whose fault it is anymore. It just doesn't work, no matter what. The whole new Blue turns out to be "how much we blew' night after night. Depressing to watch...what agony.
Mlb.tv subscription cancelled. No reason to pay to watch these fuckers lose the same way every single game. Maybe when this team grows a set ill start watching them again.
