ESPN and all the other experts we thought we knew better than were right. This team stinks and never really stood a chance outside of Kershaw pitching. Many more years of Kemp and Ethier. Yay us.
yeah don't know a lot about gattis tbh just seemed like a stereotypical dead red fastball hitter but yeah, fed and kenley should have had a better plan especially after gattis kept fouling pitches off
Honestly, I didn't think Capuano had a game like this one still in him. Obviously I was wrong....that was just a great effort, but once again, this putrid Dodger lineup and BP lets us down. I always had a feeling that Kenley's one trick pony would jump up and bite him, but so far he's kept out of it. But ever so slowly, he's getting clocked from time to time. I think it almost doesn't matter anymore. If it's not DBB calling for some dumbo bunt when Gordon can steal 2nd and get to 3rd on the sacrifice (maybe Cap missed the sign, IDK), it's Gordon running us out of the inning. And what is it going to take from Kemp at the plate to move him? Down, not up. he's getting hard to endure nightly... It's just useless now...this team is not a winner by a long shot. I never thought it would get this bad, but I was wrong again. Wow, talk about having zero fun watching your team...what a bumbling group they've become. Chokers all the way.
We need Ellis and Hanley back in the lineup in the worst way. Can't wait to see Hanley back but just hope he can stay healthy!!
Jansen should be our closer right guys? I'm sorry, I still don't see how Don could've done anything better. Jansen fucked up bigtime. And of course theirs the awful offense. It seems AGon and Crawford have cooled off, Kemp has again become horrific and beyond with an 0-9 since his hitting streak ended, Ethier is just a waste of money, and Dee Gordon is the stupidest mother fucking ballplayer I've ever seen. I'm tired of seeing a struggling team suck, and then make it worse with stupidity. Fuck Dee Gordon, I want him off the team. There is too many stupid players on this team, plain and simple. Dee, Hanely, Jansen, Kemp, and it seems Crawford just don't seem to be mentally in the game and really on raw ability to get by. most of this is probably due to them being rushed into the majors before they were seasoned. When Puig gets up, it'll really be bad. Can we be winners with that kind of stupidity? The fire Mattingly shit storm is sure to hit 4th gear again and I've stated how I disagree with it. To be honest, at this moment I really don't give a fuck anymore. Fire Vin Scully while were at it. This team makes me sick now. Of course, Ned has to go too. Kasten should just snap anytime soon and fire Ned on down to the fucking batboy.
And by the way, Jansen reminds me of Broxton. Both were throwing 100mph once upon a time and had a decent slider and nobody could tough them, and transformed into 90-92mph 30 straight fastballs that either get fouled off or land in the seats.
And fucking Donnie baseball should've pulled Dee the retarded moron fuck out of the game after that stupid caught stealing at 3B with 2 outs. Instead of talking to him with his arm around him, he's a dumb kid...treat him like one until he proves otherwise. He really deserved the belt!
great post fordie and i agree -- even though i personally would have left cap in, i can't blame mattingly for jansen blowing up it was the right move, it just didn't work one thing that seemed a bit telling... when mattingly chastised dee for making the 3rd out at 3rd base, dee appeared to walk away from him hard to tell for sure on tv, but if thats what happened donnie should have yanked him from the game right there -- you're the boss, take fucken charge i also would have rested kemp and -- even though chris disagreed -- put svs in the lineup he may very well suck (again, chris' words) but he has a hot bat right now -- certainly hotter than kemp but meh, always easier to look back in retrospect, and svs could have tanked as well lol
