Bad medicine is always the result for him, and along with the imperfect roster touters as the reason why we always lose, he may think it, too. He may feel moving on at this point in his career is the smart thing to do...might be right.
because at some point he's going to have to the pressure of being so good and failing so often have got to be getting to him and it looks like we are going to rebuild to a degree if you look at the track record of the FO and our FA situation also the money will be tremendous and teams like the cubs, rangers, yankees et al will line up for him what does he have to gain by staying? being THE man in LA?
and you know what else makes it go away? victory on a world championship team i'm more certain than ever we have to have an incredible off season or he's gone
seriously toles is saying he lost that ball in the lights? did he watch the replays and see himself look away and the stunned look that followed the ball bouncing off his glove? own up to it bkitch you botched the fucking play
No photos of older Dodger fans not so smiling though... Good for the older Cub fans...they've waited a long time.
Kershaw is not leaving, you guys are lol. I doubt Turner would leave either. Kenley may take the money and run but i believe the FO has learned its lesson. Overpaying for your big FA pitcher is dumb. Losing your big FA pitcher when you are trying to win a WS is dumber. Sometimes even when you do the correct thing you arent necessarily right. Not giving in to Greinke was the correct move but it weakened the team too much. Which probably is the reason we didnt go for broke at the deadline and ended up with stopgap Hill/Reddick instead of pairing Greinke with Ryan Braun. The correct additions this year were Rich Hill and Josh Reddick. The right additions this year should have been Greinke and Ryan Braun. If we were dead set on winning the WS at all COSTS. IMO the Dodgers will learn from their mistakes this coming offseason.
"Not giving in to Greinke ( not that this is about him) was the right thing, but it weakened the team too much"...uh...OK, Rube. "Not getting chemo made me feel less sick and nauseous, but I died from not having it", the dead guy said. Kinda sounds like calling CK a choker, but admonishing the LAD for wasting his peak years someone posted about... And how do you learn from your past mistakes ( geniuses?), and correct them, when those players are now not available to you any longer you should have gotten?
Kershaw can't opt out for 2 more seasons, I'm not even convinced he will be able to get more as a Free Agent. Despite him looking healthy in the post, he is dealing with a back injury that could turn serious in the next few years. I also don't think he has the resntment towards the rest of the team that we want to think he should. If he can get a better contract elsewhere he will go, if he can't he will stay. That simple. If he opts out there's a good chance he's gone just because our FO won't treat him any different than any other FA.
my mistake i thought it was after next year you are probably right because by then he will likely be starting the down side of his career woohoo
well since she just lost her husband a month ago and this is only baseball i'll let her have this one and be gracious about it nice to see her smiling
i don't hate the cubs at all none of them appear to be douches except maybe baez (who is young) and montero (who has always been a cunt) i might even root for them in the world series edit: and before someone counters with a "puig is young too, how come you hate on him" remark... allow me to clarify... baez is good at baseball, puig is not
Hi guys. Sorry about yesterday. I say sorry because in the short time I've been here you guys have been really nice to me and forgiving. I know it doesn't mean much, but if we had lost I would have rooted for you guys against the Indians.
Bless your aunt and bless the great Ernie Banks in the Great Beyond. If the Cubs finally break through and win it all I wish he was here to enjoy it. There was no better ambassador for the great game.
thanks for the empathy i know you have to be as elated as i am flat what a great feeling it must be to have your team in the series going to watch the games and will pull for chicago but its going to take a few days to digest what just happened
What a shame. I gotta root for the Tribe because a lot of my college friends are Indians fans but I won't watch one inning.
