Maybe I'm in the minority in feeling this way but I actually feel pretty bad for Hill. It's an annoying thing that won't go away for whatever reason, and not like he's doing it on purpose or not trying to have it go away. You'd think an offseason would make it go away and it'd be his time to have a more normal season but nope, now his career faces yet another obstacle after having quite a bit of them already. Hopefully it can get solved soon cause he's good and it's frustrating
I totally understand the logic behind each of the Nerds' decisions. But if McCarthy doesn't hold up...he, Kazmir, and Hill will be huge blemishes on their resume. The alrernatives were either non existent or cost prohibitive, so I get why they signed them. BUT...these are not exactly low-risk high reward guys. They making real money. And they never pitch. Or are ineffective.
Genuine question, what would happen if he pitched through it? I'm not being condescending or anything I'm genuinely curious.
I think their big fear is a blister ripping which then rips the skin and can get infected. I believe he'd get sidelined for much longer with a ripped blister with no guarantee his skin grows back correctly. Not sure if I'm right about that though
Not blemishes. These players are all safety nets. They are there because they have the potential to come up big at some important point during their stint as a Dodger when we need some has been or almost was to come in pitch well. Kazmir had that stint in the middle of the season when Kershaw was out. That was kinda worth his contract to the brain trust. Without Kazmir we may not have won the division.
Hill, I can see. McCarthy having TJS was bad luck, I suppose. But Kazmir? Just a gross miscalculation.
LMAOOO the kid running the base in a certain amount of time fell and like laid on the ground for like a minute hurt
