This was a playoff style game. Faced (and beat) one of the best pitchers in the league. Got strong efforts from Wood and the pen and got contributions from the bottom of the lineup when the first six hitters only had two hits among them, both by Bellinger.

I've chosen to ignore the Giant fans around me. Can't really talk shit when their boys have won three while ours haven't been to the Series since 1988. Guy who delivers fuel to me is a huge Giant fan. Always talking baseball with a shit eating grin when his team was going well. Doesn't talk much baseball these days.
And not done by signing the most expensive guys (in fact letting them go) or trading blue chippers for the most expensive stars about to hit the end part of their prime (like the previous administrations). We spend a lot on player development, all sorts of player development not just out draft picks and prospects but other teams prospects and picks as well as their minor leagues and anywhere there are good players to be had. Even non prospects or busted prospects get new life after a little time developing in the dodgers system. They fill that burrito until it oozes beans and when other GM's coming trying to get a little morsel of the best melted cheese our GM's say... notch'yo cheeze.
