Grandals Avg is ticking down, but his OBP, SLG and K% are ticking up. He's obviously changing his approach this month to sellout for more power.
And I'm all for it. His singles are useless cause he's slow as fuck, gimme those doubles and home runs
Adrian turning around 96 for a home run is great. I know y'all are pessimistic on him but I'd rather him be in the lineup than a Forsythe
Exactly, plus we have enough table setters in the lineup once we get Belli back. Him putting the ball on the ground is more of a problem than anything.
Mitchell White making a start today, going to watch on milb.com. We both are following this guy closely.
Let me know how he looks. I didn't get the package this year since I never watched last season... my how that free time has changed now that I have moved to the suburbs. I'll be ordering that thing next season for sure.
I will. What I love besides seeing the future players is that the blackouts aren't a factor. Watching the Loons now, Jeren Kendall finally heating up again. Connor Wong had a great stretch, Heredia is struggling though. Right now Melvin Jimenez has 6 K's in 2 2/3.
Ryu has been amazing this year. Incredible how good he's been after his tough injury. Extremely happy for the dude
Seems as though he saw his HR total and switched to hitting for >warning track power, rather than average, and now he's stuck in between swings and approaches. I only hope he either finds his consistent power stroke from last year or "Regresses" back to being a 370's line drive hitter to all fields from this year before the end of September and stays there.
Good observation...damn it just looks like a majority of the balls that leave his bat seems to have a very similar flight path. He flys out to RF or the 2b two, sometimes three times a game lately. Getting under it a lot with no real power... What's amazing, without him driving in runs, and no Cody, still winning.
