They have been very conservative with Yu's pitches, so I am not sure how much more than 90 that they'll let him go. Also, with his tendency to ramp it up, I will be curious to see where is FB velocity is sitting and what that does to him. Ramping up that FB to 98-99 against Goldschmidt would probably be a good idea as you can tell he is still a touch late on the bigtime gas. The bullpen thing has me nervous as well. I could totally see Dave going to Morrow for 2 and Jansen for 2 if he has to.
Not just conservative with his pitch count, but have also told him to leave 2 or 3 of his 6 pitches at home..want him to focus on his top 3 or 4 pitches and feel that'll be good enough. He gave us a couple 7 inning outings in his last 3 starts, so we'll see
Taylor CF Seager SS Turner 3B Bellinger 1B Puig RF Barnes C Granderson LF Utley 2B Darvish P Barnes is probably the starting catcher now
Yeah, I read those articles as well today. I think the big difference has been him hitting the same release point. He was telegraphing his pitches with the release point and now he is disguising them better. My belief is either he is going to dominate today or he is going to get roughed up. I just don't see an in between with where he is at right now.
Lol Wow..I didn't think I'd see it happen this late in the season, Dave with the QB change to Sam and Yasmani on the outs..and Yasmani has slugged .500 against Zack too. I like Grandy in front of Utley, with Utley's history against Zack..could possibly get Grandy some fastballs to hit
The timing in his delivery was telegraphing some stuff as well it seems. I bet Chase was just sitting over there in the dugout, checking all of his bad habits off when he got to LAD
I know the dude for sure, just being a little coy not using his name. Almost did the same for Stradlin but since he is much older i figured if I didnt name him most would have no clue that GNR used to have another guitarist. Frusciante is much more well known. And for good reason. Dude is a bad ass.
Lol OT, but IDGAF..this Miami Dolphins O-line coach snorting blow on camera Damn, what Jay Cutler can make a man do
this no need to engage in petty bullshit... although i must admit... i did think it was pretty funny at the time
