I dunno. I think we’ve seen CK and his typical post season failures, and Walker isn’t exactly a lock given Game 3. If we go down 0-2 and then rely on Ryu for a must win game 3 in LA, not sure that is a good idea.

Ryu gave us a crucial Game 1 win, and CK’s redass about it secured a Game 2 victory. I’d rather have that in a 7 game series than down 0-2.

I guess I'm " Team Machado " or whatever that's supposed to be. Lol I just know he's a talented ball player and that he's been pretty consistent during his career production wise. Somebody out there on the open market will appreciate his presence. Whether he finishes this postseason strong or not..30-40HRs and top tier defense next season when he turns just 27, you can pretty much mark it down.

This thing isn't getting done without Buehler. Hopefully the GS was just something he needed to get out his system. He mowed them down after that

Hard to get excited for the NLCS. If we make it to the WS we're getting swept.

Atlanta could do something about it, but they're definitely not responsible for the name. Just the mind numbing tomahawk chop and what is supposed to be a stereotypical indigenous melody. They were the Braves long before the team got to Georgia.
Hey, I've got an idea...why not ask some Indian tribal councils if they think it's racist or insulting, instead of others who are not indigenous decide for everyone and tell us what's right or wrong ?

My wife was watching and without even acknowledging whether or not it’s appropriate, she just said it would be unbearable to be in that crowd. I mean, they are adults waiving fucking foam tomahawks.

no question and i don't think anyone riding him is really thinking otherwise
just not worth the price tag if he can't come through when it counts
just like CK how much is that worth?
numbers don't tell the whole story

I think we all team machado.
He has been in a slump and still producing decent enough.
He will have more big hits this postseason and we all gonna be team machado.

Nah I think he’s really good and would love him long term. I know I’m being a bit irrationally harsh around him. He’s just had so many high leverage spots and had some frustrating as hell moments in them but I also do think we tend to forget his good moments rather quickly. Fandom man, it’ll make you crazy

Watching the celebrations, I wonder how weird it must be for some of the guys who want to get super crazy in celebrating to be around core group of guys who enjoy the moment but also kinda treated the NLDS win as a wtv type of thing. Some of these guys might never win a playoff series again but Turner, Kenley, Grandal, Kershaw have been there done that and must be a little weird.

What was funny was watching Dozier mope around at the end of the party, looking for a full bottle only to find them all empty. Probably felt like his last AB.

Didn't watch a minute of yesterday's game. Listened to the dulcet tones of Charlie and Rick on the radio. Hadn't done that in a while and it's surprisingly much less stressful.

I guess "been there, done that" accounts for something. (See Madsen, Ryan and Freese, David)

How many diapers had to be changed around there when Duda launched his long foul? Mine were definitely skid marked.

    Thanks, Manny. About time.

Booting that ball at short was so out of the norm that I started to question whether he had it in him as well. He definitely responded though. Talk about forgetting his good moments rather quickly, I think we can attribute 2 of the 3 wins against ATL to Machado. Of course, the 2 run HR in the first inning of Kersh's start, a lead he was able to hold - thank god. Credit Kersh there too. Feels like Machado was Kersh's best friend in this series, helping evade that looming Game 5 with Kersh on the hill as well
