I won't lie and say I'm not a bit worried with having to rely on Clayton and Zack. They are great 1-2 punch, but your back end is just as important s your front two. Seeing us being down two pitchers, one for a year and another for who knows how long, bugs me a bit. Not a fan of all the spot starters.

Yeah of course it is. Kershaw and Greinke are great but Anderson + not highly touted minor leaguers isn't great. Especially when I don't even think the Dodgers are counting on Anderson for a full season

Beachy and Ryu might be able to help this year but hard to count on them at this point. It's in trouble and I would be surprised to not see a trade in June or July for a starter but til then, hopefully someone steps up

I will say that Rick Honeycutt is really good at his job in my opinion and the Dodgers always seem to find a way to succeed with their starters

I sure hope Anderson holds up...but when you sign two guys like him and McCarthy , both DL travellers in the past, with serious shit wrong, this is what can come of it.
Amazingly, the lineup has kept the team in first place, in spite of the merry-go-round of middle rotation starters (I guess that's what they are, if CK is number 1, Greinke #2, /,?, ?, then Anderson at the bottom). Frias, and Anderson, can give the BP a serious work out picking them up in the 5/6 th inning. That does seem about their all-in, so far anyway.
I figured it would all go OK until Ryu returned, then just one spot to fill weekly, or every five games. But Ryu doesn't seem hopeful at all, and at 83 MPH, he would be so scrambled it's not even funny.
I don't know how long it will all come up roses, like now, but weirder shit has happened.

imo we're going to need at least one more starter from outside the organization
doesn't have to be a cueto/hamels/price-type, but it absolutely cannot be some of the malhomo/crapuano crap we've had in the past
the nerds have accumulated a lot of fodder to include in trades
and with guys like ethier/guerrero playing well, we should be able to get somebody pretty good in return

    JMO...

We have A LOT of options.

It's too early to be too worried...concerned, yes...worried, no.

They'll be fine, calm down. Better to have issues now than in September. Ned will do what he always does and get a servicable arm at the deadline. That's what great GM's do.

We'll have to make a trade to acquire another arm come June/July, in the meantime I think we'll survive with our offense and top of our rotation. It's a concern no doubt, but again this is where you've got to love the new front office and trust them to improve the organization.

Technically Ned wont be responsible for getting any arms. Friedman's call, yes?

The problem is people around here wouldn't recognize humor if it hit them in the face like a Bob Shirley fastball. Like when I make Uribe's fat ass bunt, obviously I just want everyone to have a little laugh.

Bob Shirley was no John Montefusco.
