    Spent way too much time reading those summations just now. Bauer definitely has some demons in his makeup - sexual perversions at a minimum. And he seems to have crossed a line, even if she asked for it rough. But it's also got to be tough for a young, single, wealthy celebrity at his sexual peak to just be a dude. Every relationship started could be the one that blows up - where the other party decides at some point that there's more to be got out of it than what they're getting. But if his career, his success, his name, and his monetary gains are important to him, then he simply has to be smarter than this. The chick in Ohio was obviously a nut-job (yet those text responses won't help his humanitarian-of-the-year nomination, either), and this one from San Diego... well let's just say that if your sex play is leaving such damning evidence on your partner's body, you definitely need to question your decision making.

    Didn't understand why Bauer and his attorney wanted to bring up the woman's sexual history with Tatis and Cleavinger.

    If anything, doesn't that hurt their case? She slept with two very wealthy baseball players and didn't press any charges against them. Why wasn't she after their money?

    They can pull up a laundry list of baseball players she's slept with and slut shame her all they want but she's only pressed charges against one baseball player and her sexual history holds zero relevance in this case.

    It has come to pass that Giants are now the darlings of the bb media world...and maybe they should be. No signs of buckling late season at all, and when you're in the cat bird seat, the pressure is on everyone else, not you so much. The post season thoughts are interesting.
    The Dodger bullpen, although the results to date are quite good, are not considered as dependable as SFs, mainly because of their propensity for WALKS...that guy named Jansen leading the way with 5.8 W per 9 innings.
    And Gonzalez mentioned also ( who I think overrated as hell, but I'm in the minority here).
    Just can't walk a lot of guys in the playoffs, and expect to win in the post.
    And Betts questionable for returning at all (?) is a gaping wound...I guess he took a turn for the worse...I didn't know that...looks like we'll never have the complete team on the field at the same time, ever.

    Not sure the answer to your question, but those other two players must be thanking their lucky stars.

    Following the testimony, it's hard to come to a conclusion as to how much of her accusations are true and how much are fabricated. But even in the best case scenario for Bauer, one thing is for sure... he's one weird-ass, perverted MF'er. At an absolute minimum, there was some bruising, some abrasions, and some blood loss. What type of person gets off on that?

    It's not difficult to see why his teammates don't want him back.

    Well she is a Padres fan and talked about getting into Bauers head before he pitched against the Pads.

    Also I found really interesting the Dr. testified today and pretty much said that she didn't have injuries consistent with her story.

    i mean as far as slapping or slight choking i think a lot of guys at least experimented w it
