Speaking of something to watch...the guy who made Jo Jo Rabbit Speaking of something to watch presently...if you liked JoJo Rabbit and the work of Taika Waititi, Hulu's got a weekly show on called ' Reservation Dogs' about kids growing up on an OK Indian reserve in the 1980's...just so well done. Funny,well- acted and conceived...and on the Native metaphysical side. new episodes every Monday, and I can't wait for them. Every Indian actor there is eventually pops up, and in surprising roles. Gotta thank my kid for turning me on to this really entertaining show...
Does Trevor Bauer punch pussy ? Nah, I live pretty high high up in NJ, in fact the high point is very close. So floods are isolated rather than Louisiana style city- lakes, etc.We get big tree fall up here, and invariably they fall on power lines. What we got was power failure, not that bad, maybe 90 minutes or so. Fucked up the a/c unit, so that sucks. They got really hit down the Jersey shore, and it went over and out to Long Island.
Good lord....what a way to go out @annamactv JUST IN— St. Tammany Fire tells me that a Slidell man was attacked by an alligator, I’m told his arm was ripped off in front of his wife. His wife went to get help & came back, he was gone. He has not been found. This is believed to be related to impact of #HurricaneIda @WGNOtv
Actually, with the full day's reporting coming in, the Louisiana city- lake scenario is all over the state. The worst ever... 39 people dead so, far hundreds, if not thousands of homes completely gone, and many without shelter. People in row boats, and in one town, the only thing showing on a street of parked cars, was a roof luggage rack of an SUV. Forget power outages...they are everywhere. People wandering around in total disbelief, in shock. It's hard to believe this is New Jersey...I can't describe the utter devastation here...very very sad.
With what you guys are going through, the fires out here, the mess in Afghanistan and the virus you'd swear the world is coming to an end.
My mother used to say that all the time...this from a person who spent weeks of her life being bombed by the Lufwaffe day and night. I guess everything is relative.
The mess in Afghanistan is rinse repeat. Literally it is how Europe washes it's robes and comes out looking good as euer with a new army and a new economy and a new middle class spreads pax along the empire. The game is as old as bel and the dragon. Not the band but the book of Daniel.
