Sorry about the loss fellas. Really though Kershaw was going to exercise those playoff demons.

The team, as constructed, needs to be blown up. CC, Hanley, AGon, Uribe....they are all getting kinda long in the tooth.....they need to go. Ethier....whatever we can get. Dee was a playoff flameout. Kemp hopefully improves and gets healthier. Puig had the 2nd year blues, but there is always potential there. I'd say bring up everyone and start fresh.

The bullpen needs to go the 9th level of hell and never been seen again save for Kenley. We need a 4th starter.......like we should've had this season.

Mattingly has had his chances. Ned has had more than his fair share of chances. I wouldn't not shed a tear if they both went.

The only thing that might salvage this season for me is if the Nats catch up and beat the Gnats in the NLDS.

he may not, but we need to make enough noise to make sure he does get the boot.

In my heart, I knew Clayton would pitch his out...and I dreamt that he would keep us in the game, and Mattingly would keep him in there one inning more than what he had, and he did. You get that 1 hit performance from the guy on short rest, and blow it all because you're afraid to take him out, because he might get mad at you. the worst possible choice to be a leader...completely the opposite of what a winning team needs.
Fucking the worst, the overall worst managed series I have ever seen, and I've watched a lot of BB in my years.
I figured Haren could go in for the 7/8th. and Kenley for the closeout. Or anything was better than stretching out Kershaw like that. Idiot.
It's not only that I don't think the Dodgers will be back for a while, because I don't, really....it's having to deal with a team that was put together by an inept, yet praised GM and one of the worst managers I have ever had the displeasure to witness at the helm of my beloved team. Again.
We are a good, not great, or even very good team, with gaping fucking holes in several places. And, more importantly, a personality and a knack of how to lose, one way or another, whereas teams like these scumbag Cardinals and Giants, have a team knack of how to win....and they do.
It starts at the very top and as I was argued with earlier in the year for posting, I post again; we will never win with Ned Colletti and Don Mattingly running this dysfunctional team.
Another whole year down the drain... watching the Cards and Giants in it while we're out.
    Far out.

Crawford got a pitch he could handle and hit a weak ground ball.

Not trying to be confrontational, but what do you plan exactly to do that? Post here about it? Where can this noise be made that get's results you're writing about, I'm wondering ? We've watched this play out for years and years, and nothing...losing in the NLDS is nothing. And one of the longest running, vitriolic arguements on this site this year was about negativity; so where did the optimism get us for those who extoll it's "magic"??
They'll be making commercials together next year for pre and during the season, just like this year. ned and don=perfect togther.
....and , if by some fucking miracle, they give these two their well deserved walking papers, it'll be about fucking time.
    L-o-o-o-ng overdue.

Colletti is gone for sure and I think the new GM will have the say on Mattingly, but if someone like Mike Scioscia gets fired, I think the Dodgers move to fire Mattingly and bring him in ASAP.

He did pitch well, and I don't really care about W-L, but unfortunately the talking heads on ESPN will bring it up 24-7. For instance, game 2 of the NLCS last year. He got a base hit and gave up 2 hits and 1 run and lost. It just sucks to think where we'd be if Clay holds onto a 6-1 lead in game 1....and tonight was very depressing. 2-0 lead with him pitching lights out in a do or die game and just like that we are down 3-2. He probably should have been pulled after two straight hits, but he was facing a lefty. Blame goes to Ned for giving us a shit pen, and I'm by no means pointing all the blame at Clay, but we had a comfortable lead in game 1 and a lead in game 4 with our ace on the mound and he left the game losing. He has to face a lot of blame whether we like it or not

Listening to Dodger Talk making me depressed. Sounds like Hanley couldn't catch up to a blooper before the bomb happened. Ugh

It was a line drive that ticked off his glove. Play before Dee was diving for a ball that...
went off his glove. We about 3 total inches away from Adams being up with the bases empty and two out.

But the most troubling thing when I think about it is how Kershaw dominated inning 1-6 in both starts....it was the 7th each start. Fuck off Ned. Hire a GM that can get a fucking bullpen
