yup. we were pretty much a .500 team all year when Kershaw wasn't pitching. this team can fool people because of the big names, but we all know that you have to be able to do the little things in this game. you have to have humility and a certain amount of humbleness. baseball with humble you and make adjust..you have to be willing to do that.

the Giants..hate them with all my heart, but they get it. the other day they realized that Strasburg was throwing gas and that they couldn't really get the barrel on the ball..so what did they do as a team? they shortened their swings and made Strasburg battle every AB. he had the lowest strikeout total he's ever had. our players just don't fuckin get it..and that's why we need to shed some of this " superstar " shit..we're being weighed down by it. we need guys that understand " ABs " more than anything..that's why if Miami calls about a Puig for Stanton swap..Puig should be gone. Stanton's a superstar, but Stanton also understands what a good AB is and when he has to adjust. Stanton is a humble superstar. if you can get your hands on one of those, you win. that kid affects everyone around him. i hope he wasn't ruined.
