    I wish I knew who the Dodgers if anything were offering but this is a gamble that maybe the Dodgers didn't want to make since he is a FA. They wanted to do it with Dempster I know but the Cubs obviously have 0 leverage. Ah well.

    Even if we have to over pay for Greinke, is there any way to deliver a bigger fuck you message to the Anals.

    Greinke told reporters (including Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) that he enjoyed his time in Milwaukee and would be open to returning if the Brewers pursued him in free agency. The right-hander described his choice to not sign an extension with the Brewers as "a business decision."
