Not even Jason Heyward would put himself 3rd in the lineup. Just embarrassing.....nice lineup Dave

why the fuck were the players in the dugout giving julio high fives?
what, like “hey good job giving up 6 runs bruh!”
    talk about low expectations
players beginning to emulate their clueless inept leader

didn't see that but i bet davey had a nice backhand butt slap for him since he's really good at that
half this lineup would barely be bench players for the pirates

I haven't watched him pitch this season. Is the timer messing with him or something else? For all my low expectations coming into this season, he wasn't one of them.

And that Reynolds extension is really team friendly. We should've been in on that.

At the risk of killing my chances for Father-of-the-Year...

How long should a paternity leave last, anyway? You go, you're there for the main event, you return to work. Isn't that how it's done?

i hope not but after joc and cody it certainly weighs on the Dodger fan watching him return to earth
thing i like is the swing is fairly compact and he's not full of himself...yet

He's totally rushed by the pitch clock, and has made no adjustments at all. Effecting command and his pitches don't break as much.
I actually think he wears down early in the game. He looks out of breath and frustrated sometimes out there.
Serious problems popping up all over...and no solutions for ineffective pitching.
    None at all.

    one positive...
victor gonzalez looked great in his return
    • 1 inning
    • 12 pitches/9 strikes
    • 2 strikeouts
    [IMG]
looks like he dropped a bit of weight too...

    and gave it to julio

Need to keep him up and send Vesia to AAA where he can get a much needed tuneup.

Could be the reason he looks so spent early on in games. Extra blubber.
Without him being the stalwart, the stopper, and solidifying that role on the staff, we're screwed. There's always someone " working their way back into pitching shape"...Kersh isn't going to last forever. May be ammunition for the FO to give him Julio the " hasts la vista, baby" next season if they don't want to ante up. Weirder shit has happend.
Maybe, by the time Buehler comes all the way back, Gonsolin can pitch more than 65 semi effective pitches, rookies get it together, the incendiary Dresden- like results bp gets some consistency, it'll be two damn seasons down the road.
    And we'll still have Dave.
And, not completely sure about this, but Prior is no Honeycutt. Not so far, anyway. Maybe too soon to judge. But undependable is the by word out there.
Let's face it, LA has a habit of over reaching on the superlatives, from top to bottom, and the justification of that seems farther and farther from valid. I guess that's the PR game that must be played when people are paid healthy chunks of a billion dollars.
I guess the faithful need their fervor bolstered from time to time whether it's true or not.
Particularly annoying to me anyway, is the droning mantra of " he can do anything on a baseball field"...
except hit above mediocrity, I guess.
