Off someone? I'd rather wait for Bumgarner's next visit to LA. They'd never suspect me...just an innocent dog drinking a pepsi.
I think he'll get going soon. It sucks to watch him struggle because we all know in the very back of our minds that he wasnt even a starter before last season and don't want to believe that we could've been fooled. But I really believe he is for real and is just struggling a bit. He will get his timing and pitch recogmition down and start hitting. I think.
Thompson looks far away from being a competitive major league hitter on so many levels. The first thing is that he's obviously guessing, but even when he seems to guess correctly on fastballs, his mechanics can't seem to ever deliver solid contact. In that "great AB" against Wisler, a number of the balls he fouled off would've been crushed by a hitter with sound fundamentals. I suppose he's the CF by default, but I think he's going to be regularly exploited.
I can't imagine facing Jansen. It looks like it's a straight fastball then bam, moves at the last minute. Must make you crazy
Thank you. Not that I know anything but I've been thinking this as well. A long at bat doesn't mean it's a good AB. He fouls off or swings right through pitches that might as well be on a tee.
on one hand, that was incredibly dangerous and silly by Puig on the other, how the fuck did he get it to Seager? Puig is insane
