If he's training to be an old grinder like Utley, he's doing it wrong. When Utley was Logan's age he had 31 HRs, a .905 OPS, was an all star and finished 8th in MVP voting.
The two Tonys aren't very good. They cost virtually nothing to acquire and are definitely worth a try, but I think they are both projects that will take a little time. I don't anticipate them making a huge impact down the stretch this season.
