Yup, and you can't even take him out, as bad as he is, because the bullpen is a pile of steaming shit.
I hate to even suggest this because he's mediocre at best, but bring Robbie Erlin back to the majors. Still would be an upgrade over Noah and could tie us over until Urias or May return. Marching Syndergaard out there every five days is the definition of insanity.
People I'd rather watch pitch for the Dodgers right now than Noah Walker Buehler throwing left handed Madison Bumgarner Jason Schmidt Jim Johnson Brian Wilson Brett Tomko that bum makes me appreciate Brandon McCarthy
Can't forget the offense had 1 base runner after the third inning because every single guy was swinging for the fences. Dodgers had 3 ground outs the entire game. This team fucking sucks and they just don't give a shit either
It wasn't all bad. Three good ABs from DeLuca and two solid innings from Robertson. Not bad for their first games.
Six shutout by Clayton. These last two innings ran up his pitch count. Now at 88. I know Dandy Dave would usually pull him at this point. Hoping he can set his little formula aside and at least let him start the 7th. This lead is not safe and these are not usual circumstances.
Amazing the score is 6 -0 in the 8th, and I have NO confidence at all that this game is a W. And all it took was a future Hall of Famer to make it happen, if it should come to fruition...
Great game by Kershaw - just what the team needed. 205 wins moves him ahead of Orel on the all-time list. Tyler Scott made sure the rest of the pen got a rest day, keeping the Reds shut out. Nice game by Peralta, and Freeman was perfect at the plate. Martinez and Muncy were 0-9, but I guess they picked a good game to no-show for. Not sure of the extent of injury to Barnes with that HBP... certainly not celebrating it, but if he goes on the shelf, maybe we finally see if Feduccia can hit at least .200 and throw out a runner or two as a backup catcher.
