Does our organization teach our players baseball? Or are they all on the phones selling security benefit accounts and Emrates tickets?
Grandal was good for 2.5 months of his Dodger career. Now he's crap. We are so screwed. Even the good trades don't work out.
Was gonna hate on Roberts for making a pitching change for a .206 hitter with no power in a game we are gonna lose anyways...but then I saw Puig leaving and then I got happy
Can't be that pitchers have 'found him out'. The difference would not be this glaring. It can't be a mental slump because it's been too long. Either he's injured or hasn't fully recovered or his injuries made him adjust his swing or the hitting coaches also made him adjust his swing. Now all the different adjustments by coaches coupled with his adjustments forced by injury limitations have left him befuddled and unable to asjust.
He has MLB eye for walks though. Like AJ in his prime. But also frames well. And can play multiple positions.
Neither can Jason Hayward. Also a premier player at everything but hitting. Yet puig is a better hitter with a better eye and more power. Puig has better career ops and better ops this season than Hayward. Except one guy is a superstar and the other a 'superstar' hated by his teams fans.
