    With what is going on right now, 100°+ temp, monsoon- like rains, severe thunder, and lightning strikes everywhere (the Empire St. Building is getting hit one after another), I just hope there is a team to root for, much less get this game in.

    Girardi starting a reliever in the first with expectation that a predicted passing storm would wipe out his starter for the second straight game makes a lot of sense. I guess Dave has a lot of faith in his pen for an extended outing on consecutive days. Then again, he did get the great Uceta back today.
