i'm actually really concerned about giving up too much young pitching. i personally would have been satisfied just figuring out how to get gonzo.

 

Just listened to Mason and Ireland part 1. Pretty salient points. If the Sox eat 60 mil of the contracts, it becomes an even 200 mil. That makes Crawford at 13 mil a year. Very reasonable if he returns to decent form. I think Beckett improves a ton in the NL West.

 

My guess is he fills the "platoon" void left by Hairston.

 

I would have preferred to give up Gould in lieu of Web or Lee.

 

This is probably one of those rare times that M&I aren't awful if you aren't a laker fan.

 

I can stomach those two but the Loose Cannons are annoying the shit out of me.
