There it is. 3-0 has turned into 3-5... again. Call it the Coors effect if you want, but why isn't that helping Mookie and Muncy? And how do you explain a lead-off walk to the pitcher?
Coors effect is definitely overblown. Was it the Coors effect when they kicked our ass in LA the last series? Giants had no issues with Coors and beat the shit out of the Rockies in the last meeting.
there goes any chance lol sf could lose all their games remaining and we still wouldn't have the sack to overtake them
I've got to say, I don't get Robert's lineups. First he tried Trea leadoff and Mookie third, with Muncy batting second. Now he thinks Mookie first and Trea third, with Seager second is the better option. Fuck the R-L-R-L... it's not working. Or just save it for lower in the lineup. Mookie and Trea are the two speedsters, the traditional top of the lineup guys. I don't care which is 1 and which is 2, but that's where they should be hitting. They won't bog up the base paths for each other, and they'll set the table for the RBI guys. From there I'd go 3. Seager 4. Smith 5. Muncy 6. Pollock 7. Turner 8. Taylor. There's the L-R-L-R to satisfy Davey. Not saying this would've worked today, but for most days I'd put my money on this lineup over the head-scratchers that Roberts comes up with.
Okay, we need to put this away right now. The auto-runner means nothing. Intentional balk him to 3rd. Hell, balk him home too so he's not a distraction. Just need to get three batters out. Let's do this!
