    Need to take advantage of a crippled Giant lineup, not that they're world beaters with everyone healthy.

    Line didn't show it, but I thought Yamamoto pitched pretty well last night, one horrible pitch aside. Pen really picked him up.

    Nice to see Smith break out in a big way. Lux continuing to progress. Kike might have broken a seat in the second deck. What a shot. Thought the whole group was swinging it better last night. A couple of good plays by SF and a number of at 'em balls.

    5-4-3 to end the game was textbook.

    I get that...I have since I was a kid getting in fights with other kids when the Giants and Yankees and Dodgers were all in NY.
    I learned, or come to realize maybe a better way to put it, that hate is as fickle as love...I now hate SD worst than the Giants, and SF is a high hate bar, indeed.
    I'd rather see us beat the shit out of SD than SF.
    Machado, Tatis, Darvish, etc., etc. Deep abhorrence.
    I don't even know these guys on the Giants...not like those other pukes.
    And SD now has the mgr. ( Melvin with the LA roster? Whoa!) that we should have...just like the Giants used to.
    Just my prattle and drool, but valid to me.

    Improves our record to 3-50 in extras since the ghost runner rule.....certainly feels that way

    I hate the current Padres team a thousand times more than the current Giants. Other than Webb, there’s no one on their current SF roster I really know or dislike. But I can’t stand anyone on the Padres. I don’t like Machado or Tatis, but at least those two can play. The guy who epitomizes my contempt for that team is Profar.

    And I get that. Certainly dislike the Padres... for me especially Machado who seems to get away with shit that he shouldn't.

    But the Gnats with their homer announcers Krukow and Kuiper will always hold the most disdain for me, even when their team is mediocre. It's the damn 3 championships that still get me... those were 80 or low 90-win teams with soft postseason schedules, basically catching lightening in a bottle three times. All these people I know (related to some) in the Bay Area who never gave a shit about the team or baseball suddenly came out of the woodwork and were lifelong fans. That's why I want... make that NEED, the Dodgers to win a couple more so badly. Just hoping we can cash in this golden opportunity because who knows what our roster will look like in a few years.
