    the only person that could give DOTD to AJ Ellis IS AJ Ellis, and he would never do that...
    because then he'd have to kick his own ass, and we all know that AJ Ellis vs. AJ Ellis would be an infinite, never-ending, perpetual draw

    You're both wrong.

    DOTD hands-down goes to Matt Kemp for striking out with the bases loaded and nobody out. I don't care if he hit a HR earlier in the game, he needs to deliver with men on base, especially at Coors. No excuse for striking out there.

    Hitting coaches...for allowing Dee Gordon to continue having abominations when he steps to the plate. Probably Hansen most of all.
    It's their damn job, which they get paid a lot of money for, to correct this kids glaring errors and dismal approach to being a lead off hiter. And teach him to fucking bunt... he does not bunt great, as I've heard...give me a break. IDK if changing him in the lineup helps as long as he continues,,,we need him OB.
    Last night was a revelation/eye opener ( or should have been , IMO), for everyone.
    What the LAD are when Kemp and Ethier just plain don't come through, and the pitching on the other side is pretty damn good...and ours, at best, scarcely mediocre. We lose, pretty much every time. And if people think Matt and Dre, whether individually , or in tandem, are going to rescue us every night, like has been April, think again. We've had nice luck for once, but for how long?
    The rest of the lineup is weak and sporadic...and bright spots like AJ, and even Uribe lately, have little or no help. I don't think we are "all right" all season long because of K+E...we've just been enjoying riding the wave. Last night shows what happens when they wipe out.
    Time for the rest of this lineup to step up.
    Try not to use this deplorable excuse for a bench...ever.
    Or MacDougald from the pen...or Mr. Sprint, Coffey.
    Embarrassments. Right now, anyway.
    And how bad do we need another LH out of the pen besides Elbert?
