    Damn..... we've done pretty well w/o an effective Kemp the past week, but keeping it up for two more weeks? Hopefully AJ, Dre, and others stay hot to make up for it.

    I dont think it'll be that huge of a deal. I have confidence that the team can hold it together until he gets back. Loney needs to start hitting though.

    Dee and Loney need to play well. That's pretty much it. Ethier's gonna go 0-4 some games, so eventually those guys have to at least be serviceable.

    He was like that last year too. He did heat it up later in the season so hopefully he remembers that and starts hitting.

    maybe they platoon SVS with Abreu

    Training staff has Kemp's hamstring at a level 1 strain. He's not going to miss significant time. They feel they caught it early and can get him to 100% over the 15 days.

    Well it's good we have a big lead in the standings...we may be using it up. If I've learned anything this season, it's don't underestimate teamwork on this squad. They have been getting it done...best record in baseball? are you kidding me?

    vs AZ (1)
    @ SD (2)
    vs STL (3)
    @ AZ (3)
    vs HOU (3)
    vs MIL (4)

    Yes, I realize that's 16 games, didn't want to stop mid-series.

    Only team with a winning record: STL.

    This is no disrespect to Kemp, but he hasn't done jack this month and they're 8-4.

    Yeah the Cards series I'm scared about, but we got Lilly, Kershaw and Bills going so I like that at least.

    Not to mention outside of 09, the Cards like to make us their bitches. Hopefully without Pujols they won't destroy us like they always do.
