Not one pitcher in the minors has been better at getting swings and misses than Hurt. A guy like that is so huge in October and his debut was as impressive of a debut as I've seen....definitely a head scratcher Mariners have been one of the best teams in the sport for months and I sure would've loved to see what this guy has against a team like that in a hostile environment...oh well
Six batters faced, six retired. Strikes out the side in the ninth. What else did they need to see? Could have at least kept him up a while and sent someone useless on a phantom IL stint.
