    Everyone does things and goes through tough situations, sometimes even self inflicted like this one. It shows a lot of character for you to come clean and move forward without the cloud over you. Even though this is the internet and you might never have met anyone you still need to be able to put your head on the pillow at night with a clear conscience. People in general do like to forgive and forget.

    Good man... I don't care how old/young you are, I'll drink with you at a game or the Lair...! :)

    the least of what you did was the lie
    there are lies of malice, lies of ease, and lies of defense
    people lie as an automatic defense mechanism
    its how society functions and you learn it at a young age

    the worst part of the lie is the misery you put yourself through
    anything past that means little, so dont think about it more
    its just continuing the misery
    and this is a celebration
    owning up to a lie only means you have a strong conscience inside who couldnt live with it anymore
    and thats a good thing
