    if guerrero were better than frazier [and this just in -- he is not] then why would we swap him for an inferior player?
    and why would the reds want any of the shitty relievers you suggested for an elite closer like chapman?

    Just because you don't agree with what I'm saying doesn't make it idiotic you arrogent jerk! Guerrero is a power hitter capable of hitting 40-50 homeruns and he's also a much better and much more versatile defender. Frazier is extremely overrated and the only reason people think he's good is because he won the homerun derby. And the reason the Reds would trade us Chapman is because they don't want to pay him next year when he's a freeagent. Plus their not going anywhere this year and Chapman would help us immediately down the stretch and in the playoffs.

    no one agrees with what you're saying because it is idiotic

    you are seriously ignorant and delusional

    frazier is a good player who is becoming a great player
    he's improved every year, leads the nl in doubles, is 9th in slugging, and will likely finish with 35 hr/100 rbi
    he's also a plus dwar defender whereas guerrero is a horrible defender no matter where they put him

    this is a perfect example of you making an asinine remark
    if the reds weren't willing to pay chapman they would have traded him at the deadline
    and he's not a free agent next year, he's arbitration eligible
    and speaking of the deadline...
    any player traded after 8/31 is not eligible for the postseason
    that's why they call it a deadline

    Your idiotic. Guerrero's WAR numbers are low because it's hard playing as infrequently as he does. Give him a regular starting spot and those numbers would look much better. And he is better than Frazier. Given the chance, he would hit .275-.300, 40-50 homeruns, 100-120 RBI's and be an allstar every year. As for Chapman, he could play in the postseason by replacing an injured player. That's how you get around the deadline. Schooled again bitch!

    frazier's numbers are based on what he has done
    you unrealistic guerrero projections are based on what you -- and only you -- think he could do
    he is a horrible defender and a one-dimensional hitter
    and again, any player traded after 8/31 is not eligible for the postseason
    the injury stipulation applies only to players on the roster prior to 8/31
    that's why it's called a deadline
    so it seems it's you who keeps schooling yourself

    Mattingly is an idiot for not playing him. And with Turner struggling, he should be out there. I'm hoping when Rollins comes back they ship Seeger back to the minors and give Alex the 3rd base job. Not saying Seeger isn't good, but Rollins has more veteran experience and Guerrero is just plain better.
