LOL... chomp!! Welcome all!! ...now back to baseball... How is it that all of the DSP Dodger fans didn't notice that the article claimed we won 51 of the last 50 games... sheesh I hate being the only engineer at DSP who pays attention to math... LOL
Plaschke article is worth a read. New info on the '88 WS Gibson home run - pov the batboy, the old scout, etc. Great stuff! http://www.latimes.com/sports/baseb...0130816-dto,0,4477525.htmlstory#axzz2cLtEeeIr
I don't know about you guys, but I'm thrilled to watch Capuano take on the Red Sox on a nationally televised game next Sunday.
downer. i was hoping Fife would get a spot start in Miami, so they could push Clayton back a day on the bright side...maybe our lineup will bust their ass and score some runs for the first time in two weeks it seems like
Uhhhhh.......20 runs in 3 against Tampa not good enough? 13 in 3 against the Mets? When Kershaw, Greinke and Ryu make 3 of 5 starts 4 runs should be good most nights.

Matt Kemp update: Still not on verge of returning, probably won’t be back Sept. 1 “(September) is getting closer and closer, obviously, and Matt still hasn’t played (on a minor league rehab)” Mattingly said. “We were talking probably 10 days ago about him possibly being ready to play at a certain point, and we’re still not there. As time marches on … It’s not like he is going to need to go out there and play (on rehab) 10 days. We’re getting closer. … He is getting better and able to do more, but he just hasn’t been able to play. I don’t think we’re going backward. We’re just going forward slowly.”
Kemp was mad a week or so ago at people reporting he wouldn't be back until September, and now it looks as if thats true... ugh Come on homie, come back, you owe it to us
Our big boys partying with LeBron late last night in Miami! http://www.tmz.com/2013/08/19/yasiel-puig-matt-kemp-liv-nightclub-lebron-james-miami/
These players party all the time lol, we only hear of stuff like this cause they party with high profile people (which isn't that bad since it might be better than them doing it with shady ass people in hiding) Rudy Seanez once told me a story of the entire Dodgers bullpen being hungover one game, since they went out the night before a day game and they told the starter to go deep into the game and he lasted like 3 innings lol. Sergio Romos dad also once told me (well a group of us) a time of when Romo and Molina got the team drunk on tequila and they were the only ones fine the next game.
