People deal with their issues differently. I'm the same way as Brett, I fuck up, I need to walk away and laugh about it or it will eat at me for a very long time. If you think that Brett isn't still pissed at himself, you are wrong. He's pretty hard on himself and you can read between the lines in a lot he has said over the course of a season. Like many others, he tries to laugh at it to make himself feel better, if that doesn't work for you, then I suggest not to follow him or McCarthey, because that is exactly what you're gonna get from them. Also, he would have held a 3 run lead longer than an inning if Rollins and Howie didn't suddenly not know how to field a ball. He's not an ace or a 3 anymore, but I would be happy to have him as a #5 which is what he was supposed to only be.
You're right about walking away and laughing about a fuck up to yourself as a valid way to deal with such, IMO. And retrospectively, Anderson did get some shit D beind him...the FO genius " shore up the defense" moves, weren't they? But that's when your fuck up effects you and you alone...not , literally, millions of Dodger fans. It's just a little too soon right about now. It's poor timing, just like one down Broadway to the new uberstar, Daniel Murphy. In Dec. Or Jan., not so bad at all...now--a real jerkoff thing to tweet.
