A pretty great game tonight. The usual frustration of Puig+noone offense, but I kind of expected that considering Bumgarner is a fucking redneck stud! The dude is good and really steps up for us...we beat him so fuck yeah! HUGE!
Ryu took 10 years of my life tonight, thanks fatboy.

Puig, the mistakes are irritating the shit out of me...I hate mental errors more than anything, but my god this kid is something awesome! Lefties are going to have trouble with him unless they can through a screwball like Fernando used too...LOL.

Punto and Uribe with big hits...awesomeness. Punto getting rest he needed, hopefully will be great again.

The bullpen...lookin pretty good. That's the best Beli's thrown in awhile. Jansen is so much better now that he's hittin 95mph again. Lovin it!

I have to say, Don managed that game pretty damn good! My only complaint was Hariston 5th, but the only other otions would be Ethier and Uribe since AJ's shit now.

Oh yeah, like N.Z. said, AJ sucks at blocking balls in the dirt. fucking get infront of them you pussy! no excuse for pussiness aJ, i'm not asking you to block the plate with Prince fielder coming in hard...it's a ball!

What's impressed me the most about the last couple games is they found ways to win. The pitching has been solid and the offense just enough.

I think the grittiness is finally starting to show with this club.

 

Really is...
They are battling back when in the past they just pressed and got sloppy both at the plate and in the field.

That's what I've been seeing, it's like they're sick of losing they have some fight call it the Puig factor rubbing off on them or possibly...the team is actually getting healthy.

I don't think we could've been right here without Hanley. He's raking since he came back and has protected Gonzo giving him pitches to hit again. Next week we get Kemp back and even if he can't perform like he used to, the guy in front of him will get better pitches to hit. Dre has to get better though, if he hits for his career avg he should hit 320 for the rest of the year.

 

Mark it June 24, 2013 this is the turnaround.

I'll wear this as my sig the rest of the year if we suddenly go into the tank again.

If that were true then TB would be bringing in youngins by the boatload to Ruven's hideout.

 

It'd be real nice to cut it to 7 games under after the next two.

 

I found it interesting, that after the Padres really showed everyone (you would think) how to handle Puig, the Giants came back right after them, and did not do what they did at all. Not very Bochy-like, who I consider one of the best there is. And even if you do know what to do to get a guy out, you still have to execute it. So great.
Ryu, who I thought was pretty shaky and just waiting for the dam to burst, didn't, and wound up with a nice game. I don't know what will happen to the team when Matt comes back, and Crawford, although reports indicate that the cellophane man is far away. It will be a gpretty good bench, better than usual for sure (if they go that way). Ethier has given a fairly good CF, I think you have to admit, and it;s nice to remember back when he actually could hit the ball....and sometimes far.
Looks like the day may be actually coming when we will be almost at full strength, (sort of) and excuses will be, well, just bullshit.
We'll see, but nice wins and playing with heart and NO FUCKING ERRORS is a joy to behold.
