Kemp and Ethier are staples in that outfield. We have no idea what's gonna happen with Crawford. We have no idea about Puig. Bourne is overrated and is not worth a big Multi year deal. We need to keep those players that are a lock for us. Dre is a lock to have a good season, with the possibility of breaking out at anytime. When Ethier is hot he impacts the Dodgers so much.

This team needs to just wait and see man. Not make moves just to make them. Dre in a stacked lineup will be dangerous. He can have a monster spike year.

Kemp and Dre define the Dodger outfield. Take him out of the picture I don't like it as much. And there should be some fucking loyalty to the guy. Jesus.

as much as I love Dre, this game is a business and if we can trade him for something that makes our team better i'm for it. however trading him for prospects and signing Bourne doesn't sound good to me especially if it's for roughly the same amount of money as Dre got.

I'm fine with trading anyone if the return is right, it's not that I want Andre cause he is good looking. I just don't think the return and replacement is worth it at ALL. Of course, we don't know what the end game is, it's pure speculation it's Bourn, BRyan, and some B/C specs in return, but still, that return would suck

Let me point out that Ellsbury and Bourjos come off the books next winter.

Not sure what you're talking about, he still has 4 more years of team control.

Is Seagar a super defender or something? Cuz if not he isn't exactly worth a bat like Andre. Some real good specs would have to find their way over to us. I'm just not seeing enough value coming back in any scenario.

Ethier is way better than Bourjos and Ellsbury is a mistake waiting to happen.

He is a power bat at 3B, is young, has many years of team control and solves a long-term need. He is the ONLY realistic return I'd deem acceptable in return for Ethier and Harang/Cap.

3B is much harder to find than an OFer. He is going to be a stud.

Playing outside of that offensive nightmare of a stadium in Seattle, it wouldn't surprise me if Seager becomes a 30 HR 100 RBI machine.

You don't think Bourn is a better player than Ethier?

I know he only has one full year under his belt but I don't see him as a big 3B bat. .316 on base. .420 slugging. 110 OPS+. Not like I think he's bad but ummm I don't see anything special in him. Never hit above the .250s in the majors. Idk what his minor league numbers are. Just saying. I'll take Andre knocking the ball all over the yard.

I would like to keep Ethier, but if we could get back Walker/Hulzten/Paxton you have to do it.

the devils in the details. we need to know more. tomorrow MSTI is gonna do massive post on the whole rumor maybe he can shed some light on their prospects cause i dont know them too well.
thing is dre has pretty much been a 3 war guy his entire career, and he cant hit lefties, bourn has been a 4 consistently and fills a need a leadoff hitter. if we do a short deal which i would expect it also bridges the gap for a puig and the farm is re stocked. when kershaw gets extended we are gonna have to rely on the farm to reload and patch holes, they wont keep spending.
