what a fucking terrible game last night. there were these guys sitting behind me and they drinking very heavily, spilling beer on me and shit. pretty sure they snuck in vodka too or something

anyways they were basically saying we should trade kershaw after the homerun. i turned around and said "are you fucking serious? and if you spill shit on me again im gonna call security" that killed their buzz real quick

i can see how dodger fans have a bad wrap... just terrible experience

We are the worst fans ever. I realize kids are just kids, but their parents let them yell as loud as they want, scream for stupid fucking beach balls, and run around! Every time I go! And it ruins the game. Luckily I am in row A most of the time, but when I am not, I cannot believe how stupid our fans are....getting up during crucial parts of the game and obstructing vision.

I got infuriated when the crowd went nuts on those weak fly balls to CF. "Yeah!". And what pisses me off even more is we have an "Ooooh and Ahhhhh" fanbase. When someone strikes out, "Ahhhhhhh!". Real fans don't, "Ahhhhh".

 

The big lead has actually allowed the lengthy experiment of Dee to go on, no matter how excruciating it's all getting. Luxury, boyos.
One thing I don't agree with is that Loney's almost total failure, has nothing to do with Dee. Or vice versa---one doesn't cancel out the other, or excuse the other, or mean that each one doesn't need attention, seperately.
Loney is a guy who was a good hitter and could be depended on and drove in his share of runs...and it all left him and he has become a festering fulcrum of weakness.
Dee is a lead off hitter "in progress", but is just not making any at all, IMO. His tenure down in front of the pitcher is just another dead spot in the lineup, and his talents, even if he were hitting, (IF), are almost completely nullified in the 8 spot , more often than not.
I wonder, if he does start hitting down there, is that going to change his ability when batting 1st. ? IDK...will they pitch him the same way...I don't think so.
If DBB truly is what everyone is calling him now, then he has to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
DBB has options. In fact, I think he has better options replacing Gordon than he does replacing Loney.
Maybe Dee just isn't ready...or maybe, he just isn't as good as they all thought he was. I believe the former... right now, anyway.
But Gywnn isn't the answer at the top.
I think they'll stick with Gordon however.

Maybe you guys should go to another stadium like in AZ, COL, SD, etc and see how crappy the fans are there. Every time I go to Dodger Stadium over the summer, I have a blast; and a lot of that is because of the fans. Last summer, I took my best friend (who is a big Dbacks fan) to a game at DS against the Angels and he had the best time of his life. Now all he talks about is how he wants to go back to DS so badly. People being drunk douchebags with stupid kids happens everywhere. But there is a huge difference in atmosphere when you go to Dodger Stadium over most of the other stadiums in the MLB. I feel like either you guys are taking it for granted, or you've never experienced a baseball game outside of LA.

I've been to Petco and AZ. I liked Petco and the AZ fans didn't know shit. I'm just saying, we have some really fucking stupid fans who make it hell for other visiting fans. I love Dodger Stadium so much and for me to have a bad experience there says something

Every team has that. I don't know about "making it hell"; I've never seen someone go to that point at Dodger Stadium or even Dodger fans in visiting parks. I understand why you'd be upset about two morons spilling shit on you; but I wouldn't let it ruin my night or experience. To conclude that we have the worst fans in the game because of something two people most likely did on accident doesn't seem fair.

Dodger Stadium is so diverse and better.

I think I already have tickets to the June 13th game against the Angels. You should ditch your folks and come out by yourself sometime. I'm sure Chris will show you a good time. We can borrow his GF's car and cruise. :woot:

 

Haha yeah road trip to LA by myself! That'd go over well. Lol. I think my friends and I are heading out there for a senior trip so we all could definitely hit up Chris' GF's car.
