Same. I was fucking excited to see Cp3 in a laker jersey...I honestly hope something happens because this is complete bull shivism!!!
Does this make it worse, ESPN is reporting that Howard wants a deal to the nyets, rather than the Lakers.
does he really think he'll accomplish more in Brooklyn with the Nets than here in LA with the lakers?
He just wants to deflect attention away from the fact that the Lakers are the #1 priority. After the Paul trade is approved, Dwight will be here. It's a smart, sneaky move by Howard.
Just throwing something out there but anyone bothered by the fact that one of the prospective owners of the Dodgers Mark Cuban was in part responsible for the nixing of the CP3 deal? If someone else brought it up my apologies.
for basketball, I get it. Mark doesn't want the Lakers to load up with stars like Miami did. But as a Laker fan, fuck him. Still want him to buy the team, though.
fuck cuban he trades erick dampier for tyson chandler, wins a title, was in trade rumors for paul, is trying to set up cap space for dwight, cp or deron, and still cries about the lakers but yeah, he can buy the dodgers no hard feelings Cubes
What's to accomplish in LA? Being the 5th or 6th best big man in team history? He's number 1 the day he puts on a nets jersey and should he bring title it's their first ever. A title in LA gets lost in the trophy case. There more chance of disappointment in LA than overwhelming success. The nets offer endless possibility with little downside.
To win a championship. To say a title gets lost in the shuffle here in LA is probably one of the dumbest comments I ever read. You think Shaq is mad he had to come after Kareem, Wilt, Mikan and others? No. Are you saying it's a downside to go to a team with rich history? Yeah, there's disappointment to be had in LA, but so what? There's going to be disappointment in Brooklyn if he comes in and it's basically Orlando Magic 2.0.
Fair enough, but there's a reason he doesn't want to come to la and asked to go to the nets. I thought of a sports related reason instead of just saying la sucks. If you don't agree with I said before, fine, but you're not left with a happy answer at that point.
I gave a sports related answer. Winning a championship and following in those greats footsteps. Not to mention, as young as he is, once Kobe retires, he'll be number one.
