3 best players tonight in order of importance were BMac, Toles, Puig.

Nah, they will all suck, Brett gives up a lot of homers and at the same time gets a lot of ground balls. Put Puig, Grandal (especially), and Joc in there and hope they run into one

Righty bench hitter dodgers fight club against a previous loser of starting pitcher dodgers fight club Brett Anderson. Loser leaves the Dodgers.
Hopefully we can have SVS, Kike, and yes even Utley get graciously designated for assignment.
And bring up Eibner, Dickson, and Chris Taylor.
Who are just holding the spots warm for Bellinger, Verdugo, and Calhoun to finish out the season and the playoff run.

The reason I am not too afraid of the not hitting lefties is that these young guys will be there at the very least.
That is if we do not trade for something even better.

    Vs Right/Vs Left
    2B: Logan/Logan+Calhoun
    SS:Seager/Seager
    3B: Turner/Turner+Logan
    1B: Adrian/Bellinger
    RF: Puig/Puig
    CF: Joc/Trayce
    LF: Toles/Verdugo

I see the guys won game 2 in this this series and they shut out the bitches as well. McCarthy,Stripling, ans Avilan all did their job. Against this cubs lineup they were the difference as the bats did just enough to win. I'm not happy with the lack of offense thus far and hope it starts to "do something" soon.

Didn't go classic god-mode, far from it, but classic baserunning Utley is nothing to sneeze at either
Especially when 1 of the things I fear most is Kenley coming into a big/hyped game with just a 1 run lead
    Nice job, Contreras/Rizzo..Chase Utley's latest victims, #1,044

Can't see Utley getting DFAd flat out...If he continues to flail away like a rusty gate, then maybe sporadic mystery DL stints, but wouldn't throw a lot of money on that.
SVS seems like he is not seeing the ball out of the pitcher's hand at all, and is clueless. So possible.
I 've been hard on Kike finook, but he seems to be getting his swing back somewhat and squaring it up.
His versatility is a feather in his cap on a team that puts so much top value on it.

I think many of us felt that, I know I did.
Just old guy superstition...to come out and " say" it is verboten. Like all the bragging after the first game of the year...Then a shutout.
Never fails.Nothing personal...Just trying the reverse jinx thing....

I agree about Utley. SVS and Kiké both have options, so they can be sent to the minors before being DFAd. Because of that, they should be on short leashes.

We would all like to see Utley hit a little more, but his value was demonstrated last night when he scored the second run from first base after the poor throw. Utley never hesitated. Never took anything for granted, which enabled him to score. Not sure how many other players on the Dodger roster score on that play.

I don't know if anyone else on the team scores on that play. Hell, half our guys would have pulled a hamstring rounding 2B.

Puig and Pederson would have run back to first.

Gonzalez would have been thrown out at second.
