Trash ass offense Trash ass umpire. total bullshit call against Kemp and the interference non call when Grandal threw it into CF because cocksucker Valaika stepped in his path and caused him to alter his throw Utley fucking sucks Muncy shouldn't be playing first base, he can't pick it like Cody. Put Muncy at 2B and Cody back at 1B, because Utley needs to fucking retire already, can't hit, can't throw, Can barely field.
I don't know about this team. There's no margin for error because the talent and depth isn't there. Cody being bad isn't good. His best season may be behind him. Doesn't mean he won't be good, but he may not be that good.
I am not worried about Cody, I dont think he is Joc. The sophomore adjustment will come. Speaking of Joc... is Max Muncy gonna slash like what we expect out of good Joc? An AVG a lil bit north of .250, OBP on its way to .400, and SLG somewhere past .500? I take that from some no name CT3 type white guy reject. Those are Grandal type numbers. We can call him MM13 if he gets 400 at bats and slugs 25 HR and 25 doubles. I am excited that we already have a new ace on the team. We can relax about Kershaw. Whatever we get from Kershaw going forward is gravy. Kershaw becomes an elite #2. Buehler is playing like the ace now. Santana and Mitchell will join him soon if Urias doesn't deliver first. Dodgers won't need to rely on Hill or Maeda to start for much longer. Maeda does well in relief and can earn his keep that way. Hill might have to live out his contract in relief. Maybe his skin, nails and hair can take 1 inning every third game. Who knows, maybe Hill has Eckersley/Smotlz type makeup and becomes a lockdown closer. Or at least hold saves for Jansen. SS: Taylor 3B: Turner LF: Kemp C : Grandal 1B: Bellinger RF: Puig 2B: Muncy CF: Verdugo/Joc/Kike Turner is back, Taylor and Puig are heating up, if everyone else plays decent and Munchy continues playing decent and Kemp is still Kemp and can replace Seagers production then the team is back to where it was last year.
The Hindenberg has landed. Rox a perfect example of a team which has problems, but the excellence of the bp puts them in the position they are in, because they actively addressed it.
Yeah, the kid was good, no doubt. Against us anyway. His ERA home is 10+. But I mean overall...how many games has our bp just blown away from lack of effectiveness? And talent, I guess. If we had a bp with similar talent to CO, what kind of record would we have ? Where would we be?
therein lies the problem our anemic offense is becoming notorious for making scrubs look like aces marlins/chen, reds/castillo, and last night 2-hit over 7 ip by a kid with a 2-5/5.15 coming into the game we will get no hit before the season is over
We've been horrible at home so I should have expected this "game" but dammit to hell!!!!!! I like Muncy at 1st, he made a couple nice digs from errant throws. He was the only guy who played well or than Walker.
last night w/buehler starting was our best shot to take a game stewart could be perfect tonight (he won't), but if the offense stays asleep it won't matter prediction... 7-4 rox
