The crusaders fight the immortals. So the dragon comes for the big meal. Then they come together... Because the knights of europe and the thieves of baghdad share a common enemy. The great dragon. Power see this as their wet dream. Giant secure facilities where religion and its faults can be exorcised from society. Because if they can take your faith from you they can then take your guns and your money and your life/wife/kids/parents/family/friends/dignity/spirit/etc... They don't call them wiggers for no reason.
I get he's 70 something years old and sleep deprived, but Trump could really answer the media's most stupid questions in one sentence or less. Q: "Some have called you racist for referring to this as a Chinese virus. Doesn't that make Chinese Americans the target for hate?" A: "It's about Geography, not Ethnicity you stupid fucking moron"
Spanish flu was named that to keep the Mexicans away. Like marijuana. All kidding aside... Xenophobia has its merits, and it's time. The message is deep in there. China bad. America good. Buy american made goods. Eat at KFC and MCDonalds not at Kung Paos or Mandarin special of the week. If it rains cats and dogs... Don't eat them. The amalgamation of man and beast is real and it leads to ex-men. Trump doesn't have to say overt shit like that. But the message is still finding it's target. Trump almost relishes looking bad and losing 'points' if it means protecting and leading. Leaders must always be rah rah when danger is coming. Keeping up spirits and having a heart filled with mirth is the best antibiotic. Drink a little wine and toke up if you got em. A little goes a long way when you with loved ones. But when shit hits the fan the rah rah has to turn into direct action. Just never get too serious or you can become infected by the gravity that's in the air. Because that's when the jokers come out and play. And they don't feel the gravity because they high on helium and laughing gas. Which makes them more dangerous than anyone except a king without his crown.
yeah and you can't dine in anywhere in the state but by golly the street vendors have their tables and chairs set up on the sidewalks
Even the doctors seem to be fatigued by the "gotcha" questioning and general pessimism from the 'reporters' in these daily briefings. I really hope this passes soon
I don't think it's going to. And the measures being taken are designed to lengthen the outbreak, not shorten it.
hard for me to imagine them keeping society locked down for more than a few weeks people are going to start losing it and definitely defying these orders
yup when u flatten a curve less people get sick n die now but more over time. So the numbers don't look as bad.
Wont happen. Why do you think we all getting money. Money is the lolipop adults need for us to calm the fuck down.
If you a representative and you had private information and publicly played it down and then ALSO sold most of your stock in industries relevant to pandemia AND purchased stock in Citrix and other video telecommunication services to protect your families financial future...FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING TRAITORS TO THE PEOPLE YOU REPRESENT AND YOU BETTER RUN HOME TO YOUR MONEY AND HIDE IN IT PRAYING TO GOD HE GIVE YOU THE SHAME REQUIRED FOR YOU TO RESIGN AND GIVE THAT MONEY TO FIRST RESPONDERS WHILE YOU APOLOGISE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FOR YOUR TREASON DURING A CRISIS.
Yeah, I think so too. One way or another this will run its course in a month or two. Either the social distancing, which many aren't taking seriously works, or people get sick of being cooped up and go live their lives and take their chances. Wish we had better data about how dangerous this really is, because we're going to be looking at massive business closures and unemployment over the next few months. Hope this is worth it, because this will make the 2008 financial crisis look like a good times. Lots of people fucked.
The market isn’t reacting to just the virus. There were several issues with the market and many signs of an impending recession prior to the virus. However you are right that this will be worse than 2008. I see this being on the order of 1929. The S&P will continue to fall about 7%, begin to rally, and then crash again to the low 1800’s. The dollar will plummet and we will enter a period of increased inflation or stagflation that will take years to recover from.
