    Yeah, Lynn had bad timing....just accentuated by the slam by that fucking idiot hot dog at the top of the Braves lineup.

    Agree with this. Everybody is going to have a bad showing at some point. Even Mookie and Freddie have their hitless days with multiple strikeouts. The thing that is concerning about Lynn is that his first four starts were against weak-to-moderate offenses: OAK, SD, COL (not at Coors), and MIL, and he surrendered just 4 ERs (all on solo HRs) over 25 innings. Now his last two starts against BOS and ATL - the number 5 and 1 teams in the majors in OPS - have resulted in 5 HRs /10 ERs in just 10.1 innings. Of course he's going to get more looks (what other choice do we have), but considering that most likely we're going to be facing offenses more like BOS and ATL in the playoffs, particularly after the first round, I'm not feeling too good about these metrics and I'm taking his early success as a Dodger with a large grain of salt.

    if that's as good as it gets w Julio this year i think our chances are pretty grim
    think they should be giving the kids as much run as possible but that's not going to happen
    last year gallo got the nod over Outman so pretty sure Stone and Pepiot will be outside looking in

    guess i'm alone but i don't think the braves are that great
    very good team no questions but entirely beatable and the Dodgers just had two starters literally shit the bed and were still in it til the end
    also don't feel like all the cards are on the table in this series and the team may be doing advanced scouting since we aren't falling back to the pack at this point
    if they are to get to the WS it obviously is going to have to go through ATL and this squad
    imagine if we got even an average performance out of these two starters and when we didn't we sent out a couple of guys that may not be on the roster come playoffs
    not that impressed and think we can go toe to toe w better pitching and there's the rub besides the davey factor
