I remember the days of being down 5-0 meant game over. Nowadays we don't stop watching until out 27. What a pleasant reversal of feelings.
The game against the Braves when we were down 12-1 in the 6th... I'll admit I was thinking we might comeback.
tonight they said our biggest comeback ever was from down 6? sounds impossible then again who cares i guess
Somebody called into Dodger Talk and complained about the racial make-up of the team. Too white. Lmao
i usually pick on orel and i still will but tonight in the 5th he said "sometime in the final three innings we will bring the tying run to the plate and the fans will go nuts" i thought about it for a second, and thought "yeah, we'll see" but he was 100% right bravo orel
I think Orel is a good analyst, especially on pitching. Could do without Orel the Homer, though. Seriously doubt that's going to change.
Depth, depth, depth. Kike, Utley, Barnes, lineup producing 1-8, the pen putting up zeroes........obviously a run like none of us has ever seen from our boys. Still not going to feel comfortable unless they come up with a couple of more arms, though.
That may have been the brewers game where they came back and chris Taylor hit that go ahead grand slam. That was some epic shit right there. Reminded me of that toles grand slam last year
Somebody told me about it. I didn't actually hear it. I went to listen to the podcast this morning but they must have edited it out
And we are on pace for 113 wins, the fourth most in MLB history. Usually you expect regression, but our pace has been on the rise and our record is only 1 win above our XW-L which suggests our record is sustainable. Obviously, however many wins it takes to secure HFA is all that really matters... but man, winning feels good. I've never seen our team this good.
